EA Development

1/12/24  12:30 midnight and I have finished a build of an EA using nothing I said I was going to use but instead used an AI designed secifically for coding that I had been using for a long time and saw it had been slightly upgraded so gave that a go and it has been pleasantly surprising.  Went through many clarifications, confirmations in design, then many iterations and error processing to eventually get to solid compiled robot.  There are many user adjustable parameters to test on and some that I may take out, at least for now to simplify a little.  Even then there is still a lot.  So much that it will be a learning curve just to learn my own build!  The variations of how to identify horizontal are the key to it all really so that is what I will be refining the most I think. 30/11/24  Finally got some time to kick it off. Right now I have opened an FXPro demo account and Ill be testing on that. I did have a HotForex account but they terminated it for some reason...? I hadn't even used it. I won't bother investigating that for now and I'll just move on to analysing the indicator in MT4 with FXPro and getting familiar with its properties and integration. I did find another site that builds EA bots: https://expert-advisor-studio.com/ It looks very professional with integrated backtesting so I'll have a go using this today while I have the free trial. Should be enough to make what we want for now. The original site I was using and still may use is this one: https://www.forexeadvisor.com/ which is free forever. There are others but these should do fine.
